History


The Ecumenical Missionaries was canonically erected as a Religious Order within the concordance of the American Catholic Church in 1850. The Church of Ecumenical Missionaries was established on July 13th 1998. The Archbishop, The College of Bishops and The Ecumenical Provincials with their Father General founded the Ecumenical Federation of Middle Schools and Colleges. The Federation has grown within the United States and overseas in alliance with Various Christian and non-Christian groups. During the last college of Bishops gathering in June of 2011 in South Hampton New York, a motion was adopted to change the name of EFMSA to its current name of Ecumenical Federation of Accreditation (EFA).
